Abstract
This paper explores the essential elements required to effectively integrate personal computing into organizational or individual workflows. The research centers on diagnosing "Critical Success Factors" (CSFs), a management concept used to identify the few key areas where things must go right for a business or project to flourish. In the context of this study, the author examines how technical infrastructure, user training, management support, and socio-technical alignment act as catalysts for the successful adoption and utilization of personal computers. By analyzing these variables, the paper provides a strategic framework for decision-makers to overcome barriers to technology adoption, ensuring that hardware and software investments translate into tangible improvements in productivity and administrative efficiency. Ultimately, the study highlights that the mere presence of technology is insufficient; rather, its activation depends on a holistic synergy between human skill sets and institutional support structures, making it a foundational resource for organizations aiming to undergo digital transformation.
