Abstract
Project deal with thestudy ofthe suitability ofthe planning standardsof the select sites forsports facilities for theholy city of Karbalaand the extent ofconvergence anddivergence between thesestandardsand points ofstrength and weaknessin eachof these standards. It was found thatthere was a lackofthe role given to the sportsasa kindof luxurydoes not deserveto spend moneyand efforts, andwas thenincorporatedwitha lotofentertainment servicesby planners. It turns out thatthere isa large inabilityto the provision ofthese facilities for thiscity, althoughtherewill now be directedto begin Strategic and important projects,mission and strategy, such asstadiums,youth forums andOlympic pools, which will hopefullybe completedduringthe next two years, God willing,by the Ministry ofYouth and Sports, which canbe solveda large partof the problem. Thestudy foundthe needto reconsiderthe current planningstandardsof thereality ofthe sports and youth facilitiesbyforming ajoint committeeofthe relevant authoritiesfor the preparation of appropriate and balancedstandards to make borderbetweeninability to providethe service,andbetweenserviceno need forthemin an inappropriate place, and the costprohibitivetofit withthose standards.
